First Impression:
Whether you are looking for last-minute hotel deals or planning a vacation in Vancouver, BC you really don’t need to worry about when to visit this stunning city, she’s always ready to welcome you! Obviously, I am talking about Vancity as she likes to be called.
I stayed at Vancouver’s finest luxury hotel – Fairmont Pacific Rim for 3 nights and 4 days I was fascinated in numerous ways. Located in Downtown Vancouver’s premium location, this spot is definitely a favorite among tourists and locals alike.
The hotel has a strong sense of style, sophistication and a very cosmopolitan vibe, yet at the same time, it had a personality of being casual and contemporary. The luxury hotel’s art-decor and diverse architectural design alongside its digital guest experience were very impressive at a first glance. The little details around the lobby, in-room dining, views around the hotel and hospitable staff set the standards really high.
What I Loved:
Standing tall along the Vancouver sea wall, the walking distance around Stanley Park and the downtown neighborhood made it convenient to walk around the city. It was definitely the convenience of the location that drew me to use Booking.com to decide on choosing this luxury hotel in downtown Vancouver.

The room was super techie yet gorgeous with views of the pool and the North Shore Mountains. Upon check-in we were upgraded to a room with a fireplace and patio as well, it was definitely a stunner! The room was spacious yet comfy and very relaxing with the most well-equipped bathroom. The bathroom had it’s own tv and music station, you can soak up a warm bubble bath and enjoy your favorite TV show while sipping some wine. The automatic controls in the room made it convenient to get things done at ease no matter wherever you are in the room, the room came with an IPad control that facilitated this experience.
Guests staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim have plenty of dining options, the popular Giovane Cafe serves us a good Banana Coconut Latte with a fresh deli to choose from and then there’s the chic lady – The Botanist. If you are seeking a visual delight with stellar sensory experiences then, The Botanist was made for you, I had a 6-course dinner at the restaurant and it blew my mind. They serve up a wonderful breakfast buffet, which I do recommend too. On the Instagram side of things, the lush green plants and serenity will make you want to come back and snap some more pictures.
The hotel’s amenities were good and very updated. It definitely exceeded my expectations in many ways. With unparalleled views of the city line and mountains, it has the ability to offer it’s guests moments of relaxation among the chaos of life!
Last Word:
This should be one of the ‘Things to do in Vancouver’ if you have a little extra budget or have been planning a trip for a while and haven’t had a chance to take some time off. The price of the experience does match its offerings and honestly, you would go back with vivid memories of the North Shore Mountains from Vancouver. I’ll have to go back to experience their spa next time, I’ve heard good things about it.
