Summer is the best time when it comes to experimenting with your outfits. I strongly believe whether you live in Vancouver, Canada or Los Angeles or San Francisco, nothing beats summer streetwear looks. The best way to get around your every day style is to surprise yourself and do something new each day.
The sun makes my Instagram loving soul happy. I find more reasons to get out play and wander around places. On a recent trip to Chicago, I styled myself in a cool summer look to enjoy the Windy City. This blog post is dedicated to all you fashionistas in Canada and America who want to stay ahead of your style game this 2018. It’s also perfect timing as we celebrate Canada Day and 4th of July.
The first thing that pops in this outfit is my shoes. These premium chic shoes ( CalibreV1) are from BELIENI, I love the detailing and design. They are very fancy and you can rock these on a chilled summer afternoon, sunset walks, or for those perfect bbq parties this Canada Day or 4th of July. I’d wear them to work too and maybe dress down on a club night as well.
A big fashion trend that is coming out of the runway and hitting the retail stores are geometric patterns. I’m talking about this starry shirt, I styled it with this distorted denim vest from Zara. Prints, shapes or patterns they are totally cool this season. If you want to stand out, accessorize well. My shorts are vertical stripes another pattern that is totally contrasting, yet a piece that stands on its own.
Make summer fun by adding pops of color and design. The more interesting your outfit, the better you will personally feel. And believe me when I say that. It’s all about #SelfLove. Looking good is about you first, before impressing others. That’s how I think at least.
Style tip: This look is super easy to replicate, try styling each of the pieces individually or steal this look. The right level of confidence will totally elevate this look.
Happy to hear what you guys think about this post. Opinions are mine and I keep it authentic.
