Fun things to gift your dad this #FathersDay!!
My dad is friendly even stylish at 50 and I think in a lot of ways he is unstoppable. But that’s my dad and if you think you’re running out of ideas or the lack of time, then look no further as below I’m gonna enlist my 8 Ways to Impress your Papa on Father’s Day, if he isn’t already impressed by your wonderful self.
- Herschel Supply
My dad loves caps and the big traveller at heart that he is; I think he totally deserves this Herschel Supply passport holder and man pouch. I’m certain a lot of man folks would love to get some goodies from this Global Canadian Brand. Check them out on www.herschelsupply.com which ships internationally too.
- Roger & Gallet
Ever since I attended the Roger & Gallet Boutique Launch at the Hudson’s Bay, Vancouver. I’ve started loving their natural and aromatic fragrances and skin care products. A new range of L’Homme Intense Freshness was introduced this season for the everyday man. This strong aromatic range of fragrances has a central woody scent with a lasting trail of amber and spices. And without a doubt all Dad’s across the globe would love this gift.
3. Christian Paul Watches
Men can never have enough watches. It is probably why gifting a watch to your dad would be a great option this Father’s Day. My dad is young at heart and loves flamboyant colours hence I decided to go with the blue leather strap watch with a golden accent that comes with a blue grid dial. Well you know your father and his personal tastes could always vary from yours, select a classic style from Hudson’s Bay (do not forget to get a gift certificate) just in case he would like to change it.
4. Ted Baker
This English brand is a favourite amongst every gent I know. My father and I both shop at Ted Baker world over. Their exquisite style and mystical appearance is what makes shoppers return to their uniquely designed store every time. Having spotted this real leather holdall in the Ted Baker store in Pacific Centre, Vancouver I knew right away this would be a wardrobe essential for my dad. I hope you guys like Ted too, but this specific man bag is a combination of a duffle bag, shoulder option and with multiple storage options. Isn’t it a total buy for your dad?
5. Browns
Gifting shoes is definitely not an easy task. But if you’re someone whose already gifted any of the above to your dad last Christmas or on his Birthday, then I suggest check out Browns. Canadian home grown brand Browns stocks some of the most exclusive designer and sports wear shoes. And I’ve decided to pick up these summer loving Riviera’s that are totally affordable and something your dad can reuse several times. The thing about shoes is to get the right size, style and quality. And when you’re getting it from the right place that is not even something to bother about. Hit them up on www.brownsshoes.com or visit the malls all over Canada.
6. Proraso
Italian brand Proraso is a legend when it comes to Men’s grooming. And I’m thinking this could be a great option for every dad in the world. As shaving and men are synonymous and its an everyday ritual that tons of men follow across the world. Proraso developed a new range of shaving products that meet the special needs of different skin types and beards. Surprise your dad with this grooming kit from Proraso and he’ll definitely give you a hug. Proraso is available at Shoppers Drug Mart. (Also look up http://www.proraso.com/).
7. Boodles Gin
“The gin can do it all’. It’s true and if you haven’t sampled this popular British drink, then you’re totally missing out. Named after London’s famous men’s club Boodles Club this drink dates back to 1845. I quite like the finesse with which this gin befriends every other tonic or fruit drink and creates a further reformed flavor. No celebration is complete without an amazing drink, so any Father’s Day treat would be incomplete without introducing him to his new best friend. Boodles Gin is available all over Canada. (www.boodlesgin.com)
Well if you aren’t convinced enough what to gift your dad on Father’s Day – I’d say get online and shop these items right away or if you love a little trek then hike around the malls till you figure out the most coveted piece for your dad.
